A compilation of some footage I've gotten with the Spark over 2 days in Chinatown, Singapore. Kinda' intend to continue adding more footage of Singapore as time goes by, hence the "1min teaser footage" in the title :)
The Spark has been a great first drone, it's a great tool to add to my existing photography gear :) Not that I haven't had problems with it, but considering how new the Spark is and how DJI have been pushing updates, I can live with them. But working in Premiere Pro has been a learning curve :/ Previously tried to edit videos on the go using Filmora Go, but there seemed to be a mismatch of the frame rate (which I could not edit) resulting in stuttering videos. It's been a really long time since my last post...Haven't had the chance to travel much since then, but I've just returned from a trip to Austria 2 weeks ago, so I thought I'd write a post about it :) The itinerary on this trip was largely unplanned, and it was hard to even narrow down the focus of this post. Ultimately I thought I'd share my experience going around by hiking and public transport in the small towns just right out of the Innsbruck city centre. I will not be focusing too much on Innsbruck itself as you'll probably be able to find loads of information on it already :)
In September 2015, a friend and I decided to take some time off work and explore the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, home of the famous Mt. Bromo in Indonesia.
Many people would take a day tour in the national park, going around in a jeep. Or staying a night in one of the many hotels in the park, still going around in a jeep. We decided to take the road less traveled however, staying 2 nights and hiking to the viewpoint and the caldera. This had the benefit of avoiding crowds, so we found it a more comfortable way to enjoy what the park had to offer. I found that the park had so much more than the typical pictures of the volcanoes we usually see.
